Pangolin coloring pages

Some animals look so unusual that kids immediately want to stop and ask, “What is that?” Pangolins are exactly that kind of animal. With their scale-covered bodies and long, curved tails, they don’t resemble most mammals, which makes them especially interesting to color.

Pangolins live in parts of Africa and Asia and spend much of their time searching for insects. They have small heads, pointed noses, strong digging claws, and bodies covered in hard, overlapping scales. When they feel scared, they roll themselves into a tight ball, using those scales like natural armor. Instead of teeth, pangolins use long sticky tongues to catch ants and termites.

These coloring pages let kids work with repeating patterns, curved lines, and textured shapes that feel different from typical animal drawings. This kind of coloring supports careful hand movement and gives children space to experiment with shading and detail. All pages are available as free printables, so they’re easy to save, print, and use whenever curiosity strikes.
